Call on your MSPs to demand an equal Right to Pulmonary Rehab in Scotland

Please call on your MSPs to demand an equal Right to Pulmonary Rehab in Scotland

In Scotland today, there are huge variations in the treatment available for people living with lung conditions like COPD.  Please help end this unfairness by writing to your MSP calling on the Scottish Government to create a universal right to pulmonary rehab.

Our research shows that access to vital pulmonary rehab depends on where you live in Scotland.  Waiting times to get on programmes range from four to 29 weeks.  Referrals to pulmonary rehab range from 2% to 21% of those who could benefit and the capacity of programmes doesn't meet the scale needed.

For people with chest conditions like COPD, breathlessness and anxiety are common, and they are at risk of poor mental health and isolation.  But pulmonary rehabilitation is proven to improve their health, help them regain their lives, and stay out of hospital.

We need your MSPs to call on the Scottish Government to invest in this essential and life changing treatment.

The form is quick and simple and it creates an automatic email to your MSPs asking them to contact the Scottish Government.
